Tags being added to Time-deleted and come back

I have a tag that is being added to several task. I go into the time of the task, click on the tag, click remove tag, save. The tag is not there. When I run an export the extra tag shows up on several task. I have removed the tag from times/task several times but it keep coming back. I check on my task config to make sure that tag is not associate with the task it should not be and is being added to. I check Tags and one the one that is being added is not associate with the task it is being added to.

A "task" doesn't have a time. Maybe you mean "work unit"?

I think I see my issue. On Export there is a drop down "Tag Exported work units" I was selecting this and choosing the tag. I mistook this for filtering by tag. Is there a way to filter the export by tag? I don't want it grouped. I want to see every working unit but filtered by a tag. (I use tags for customers, so i want to see detail of all work for the month by the customer tag)
