How to recover from two separate instances backed up to same cloud database?

WorkingHours version: 2.8.3.0
OS + version: Windows 11

Made the mistake of using the same OneDrive for two instances of WorkingHours... one work-related and one personal. Now the entries are intermingled, with task names overwritten and neither side now being happy.

I see the *.wh backups in the OneDrive folder, including ones prior to the mixup.

What is the optimal method to move both Windows 11 computers back to the state prior to the mixup?

Will make a feature request too for being able to specify database name so that the same OneDrive account can support multiple instances. Thanks

The "merged" databases can not be changed back.
You can make a backup of the current state (to not lose any data) and then try importing the backups from OneDrive. They are saved daily and maybe that helps to at least get one instance back to how it was before.

Understood. I haven't seen the import option in the settings, but will look for that. My original thought was: backup existing on-disk database, nuke it, restore from the last pre-mixup backup. Will look around more for that restore option.

OK, I was able to restore one computer using the backups, and the other I'll have to prune out via MySQL database queries. Will have to get another cloud folder so I'm not conflicting again. Thanks for the help.
