My employer does not allow any third party app to be connected to outlook, however I have lots of meetings a day, and simply allowing drag and drop from outlook calendar (or a selected text from any other application) to workinghours time tracking list and creating a new entry with the text as description.

I have seen that drag&drop can also provide the full msg file - could you read the start, end and title from that and create an entry that way?
