I don't consider this a bug. WorkingHours just cuts off the smaller decimal places instead of rounding up.
May I ask why this is an issue? The value is just rounded down for displaying, but the precise value is still stored and used internally
Hello Timo. Hallo.
The issue is, that every single work-unit is rounded at my partners worktime list.
If I have 0,06h ("shortened" 4min) 10 times calculated instead of 0,07h ("rounded" 4min) i loose 0,10h.
Not really a problem, but it's irritating because my monthly notes are allways a little bit different from my WH datas 😎
All the best Timo,
really great work from you,
Christian (pro user from the very beginning of WH).
CMA If I have 0,06h ("shortened" 4min) 10 times calculated instead of 0,07h ("rounded" 4min) i loose 0,10h.
Where is that calculated as such? As I wrote above, WorkingHours should use the precise vale (4 min) for aggregating multiple work units. Is that not the case?
Anyways, I might change the behavior from the current "round to bottom" to "round to nearest". But internally, for calculations, no rounding is used (unless you specify it in the app settings) 🙂
E.g. at an big international pharma firm.
Especially for "Externe Dienstleister".
Danke für deine Mühe. Thank you.
